World War Ii Sterling Silver Crimea Crimean Map RingToyzme store. World war ii sterling silvre crimea crimean map ring! Description. Here is a highly unusual old world war ii ring, that i bought along with a bunch of other world war ii items that belonged to a retired army officer, including letters, papers, etc. I had to look a long tmie to figure out it was a map of crimea, or the crimean peninsula. It is marked with the date 1944 on it, and has the letters krim across the map itself. hTis ring is hand made, so i think it may be one of a kind, or one of very few which were made like it. It is silver, i have tested it. It is not marked on the inside, and is a size 10. I am thinking it could be of russian origin, since 1944 was the year the soviets fought in criema and took it over.
